The ideal candidate will be responsible for uploading Customer Support content in HTML according to the QA Logitech standards, and to ensure timely delivery of content to live environments in currently 9 European languages through a content management system. The role holder will proactively generate ideas and editorial for visitors to the website. Key responsibilities will be the implementation of content and the day-to-day running of Logitech's customer support website, the updating and editing all relevant information as well as taking full responsibility for the management of the knowledge base. Working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment, he/she must ensure future scalability of the customer support websites inline with regional sales growth and expansion in Europe whilst maintaining a strong focus on the customer experience presented by our webpages.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be in charge, among all other tasks, of:
- Editing text and HTML for site content, ensuring all content conforms to Logitech style and best practice for web writing and content usability.
- Proof-reading content before releasing it to live.
- Contributing to maintenance and development of documentation on content processes, style and conventions.
- Identifying content for translation, he/she will collaborate with the localisation department making sure translated content is fed back into the system.
- Day-to-day maintenance, development and implementation of the content strategy of a range of interfaces .
- Training internal users to best practice usage of those documents .
Job Skills- At least 1 year of experience on online content management or web editing in a technical environment, with skills and knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), coding in HTML (without using an wysiwyg editor), web writing, content usability and accessibility.
- English Fluent (written and spoken), at least one Slavic language (preferably Russian or Polish) with a good understanding of writing for the web. Knowledge of German and/or French will be considered as a valuable asset.
- Minimum of 12 months working experience within a customer service organization.
- Programming Knowledge of Flash, PHP and Javascript will be considered valuable assets.
- A self starter, able to work in a changeable environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to deliver a high quality work respecting tight timelines.
