I can vouch for her; she is a great nanny and takes great care of the children (seen her in action :-D )!

Hi Jenny,

we are a family with 3 little boys (3,4 and 5 yrs) returning after 2 years in the UK back home. We are looking for a nanny beginning of next year. We live in Bergdietikon (up the hill in Dietikon). Can you send me your email and then we could exchange some more details.
regards
Mirella

Re: Nanny looking for a family

My husband and I are both working and continue to do so, once we have our baby boy who is expected to be born in the end of March 2009 or early April 2009. We would need someone to take care of him from June 2009, when I would need to get back to work. We're looking for someone who can work around 40 hours per week, only on weekdays and live-out. We live near Kunsthaus in Zurich. Please get in touch with me if this is suitable for you.

Hi, We live in Zürich Wiedikon and are looking for help with our two kids, a few days a week. We are very flexible with working hours so could possibly fit in with any other jobs you might have. Please let us know your conditions and if you are interested and still available.
thanks
Henry

Hi Jenny - I see you got quite a few good responses already - are you still looking for a position? A friend and I are looking to share a nanny - we live 5 minutes from each other (Glattbrugg,Opfikon right by the new Tram 10 stop Lindbergplatz) and our children are 12 and 14 months respectively. We would have no problem to have your son with you, in fact, would think that is nice to have another toddler around
Please let me know,
thanks

experienced nanny looking for full/part time work around zurich area

Dear Families...

I have been working in zurich as a nanny for the last 4 years and the family i am currently working for have decided to relocate back to the US. I have 10 years experience working in childcare including nursery assistant, childminder, and various other sole charge nanny positions. However it wasnt until i had my son who is now 2 yrs old that i really appreciated the 'after hours' care that a child needs!!!

I am a single mum so would be looking for full time hours but this could come from several part time positions or one full time job. For either short or long term. I am also willing to do any temporary work that you may require or cover holidays or so...

I can be pretty flexible on a start date and the hours i work, however i would like a family that would be happy with my son coming along with me each day.

If you or anyone you know think this could work for you, please get in touch, and i would be happy to forward any further information/references.

Thanks very much
Jenny

Nanny looking for a family

Dear Families...

I have been living and working in zurich as a nanny for the last 5.5 years. I have over 10 years experience working in childcare including nursery assistant, childminder, and various other sole charge nanny positions. However it wasnt until i had my son who is now 3.5 yrs old that i really appreciated the 'after hours' care that a child needs!!!

I am a single mum so would be looking for full time hours but this could come from several part time positions or one full time job. For either a short or long term period.

The current family I work for are great and I love the kids dearly but I am looking for a new job that will fit more easily around my/Jake's changing routine. Next summer Jake will start kindergarten as will the daughter of the family I work for, however they are in different parts of the city making it impossible to be in 2 places at once I am looking for a family that will be happy with me returning to school to pick up my son at lunch. I believe that will give the best of both worlds for your child/ren 1-1 interaction in the morning and social interaction in the afternoon when my son is around.

I am a very active person and like to do many activities during the day eg English playgroups, Playdates, walks, badi's (in the summer!) trips to the zoo/swimming etc.

Jake has been coming to work with me since he was 3months old and it has never been a problem or changed the way I have worked, I can provide you with many great references from families I worked for before and after Jake!

I realise that i still have some time to organise things but by posting early means i can be pretty flexible on a start date and the hours i work, just as long as you are happy with my son being with me each afternoon.

If you or anyone you know think this could work for you, please get in touch, and i would be happy to forward any further information/ references you may require.

Look forward to hearing from you,
Thanks very much,
Jenny
