English speaking maternity nurse/nanny/nursery nurse available - March 2009, Zurich

Hello,

I'm relocating to Switzerland and am looking for a childcare job in Zurich area, hopefully as soon as possible, because the work permit takes a while... I'm available from March 2009 onwards.

I hold UK qualifications - Maternity Award and CACHE Certificate in Early Years Practice, I've also done trainings on sleep, care of multiples and many other. I'm experienced in looking after children from newborns to 9 years old. I have maternity and nanny experience, which I gained mainly in London. I also have travelled to Holland, France, USA and worked there for short periods of time from 3 weeks to 6 months.

I speak fluent English (I've done a TEFL training) and teach children as well. My pupils are 9 and 13 years old but I also taught 3,5 year old.

At the moment I'm learning Spanish and German myself. I'm hoping to begin Early Childhood Studies (BA) in the next couple of months.

I make friends with children easily and build good relationships with children and their parents. I believe children are individuals and I need to help them to develop best to their abilities. I'm very patient and love sharing my knowledge.

I'm looking for a full-time job as maternity nurse, nanny or nursery nurse and am more than happy to teach children English.

If you'd like more information please PM me. Full CV available as well as good references.

I know that this thread is old--but are you available for a short-term, live-in maternity nurse in Basel? Do you know anyone who might be? Please send me a note if you are available.

Hi! Just in case you are still looking for a job, would you consider working as a nightly maternity nurse? this will be for a family with three kids (the youngest born in February). The family is Russian, located in Kilchberg (Zurich, Switzerland).

Hello:

I know you mention that you are located in Zurich, however, would you, by any chance, know somebody like you in Geneva?

Many thanks

Hi Caroline,
unfortunately I don't know anybody in Geneva. I'm sure you can get in contact with some agencies, in Switzerland or even London and they will be happy to help.
What kind of help are you looking for exactly? You can also PM me with more details... possibly I might be able to help somehow.

Best regards,
Marta

Hello Babynanny,

Just wondering whether you still have capacity for a part-time nanny job?
We are looking for a part-time nanny to assist me with a newborn baby (due date: first week of July) and a seven-year-old boy. Thanks.

Update - June 2011 Maternity Consultant and Photographer, Zürich

I'm available for occasional evening work and consultancy. I offer advice on breastfeeding, weaning, sleep training and solve other problems you might have. Just contact me with with your questions.

I have recently qualified as Developmental Baby Massage teacher and offer private classes for babies 0 - 6 months.

Photography is my passion. I love to photograph newborns, babies and mums to be. If you are interested in a photo session, don't hesitate to PM me. I'm currently building a portfolio, so prices are very competitive, sometimes a low as travel costs to your home.
