Dear (future) Au-Pair,

at the moment I live with a family here in Switzerland - Solothurn (is in the German speaking part) and as I will leave here at the beginning of March we are searching for a new au-pair
The family is half Swiss-half Scottish (the mother is Scottish) and they have a little boy who is only 5 months old at the moment. He is full of smiles and just lovely!
Your duties would include looking after the boy, playing with him, going for a walk with him etc. but also some light housework (hoovering, dusting, doing some shopping)
All in all you would work about 25hours/week and the weekend is off - which means that you have enough time to explore Switzerland.

You will have your own room with Internet-access and a lovely view to the Aare (=a river) and the mountains.

It would be just great to find a nice and caring person who would like to start at the beginning/the middle of March..

ps.:the family would prefer a person from Europe as it is easier with the visum and things like that - and if you are from Great Britain, Germany, Austria or Switzerland this would be great.. but if you are from a different nation this wouldn't be a problem either - the most important thing is to find a person who fits in very well and enjoys spending time with a little boy..

I am new at this, and just barely joined the site today, June 13th. I found your add, and wondered if you found someone. Im sure you have, seeing you needed someone in March. If by chance you haven't, i would love to know more about the position.

I'll tell you alittle bit about myself, just incase My name is Whitney Slade. I am from Arizona, United States. I am twenty one years old and absolutely love children. I really think it is my calling in life! I returned back to the United States from a nannying position in Choex, Switzerland at the beginning of this year. I worked for a couple who had 4 beautiful, very active children. It was the greatest experience i've had yet and am trying to do what I can to get myself back over there. I love serving, I love helping, I love being able to make others lives easier, and I think that nannying is a great way in doing that. Plus, Switzerland is amazing. I think this would be such a great opportunity for me and for you as well.
