Due to the global financial crisis I'm in the process of looking for a new full time job, preferably in canton Vaud or Geneva. In addition to using the usual job search routes, I thought that it might also be worthwhile posting in the job section of this forum, so here goes:

I am a UK citizen and currently hold an L-Permit (EU) that is valid until Dec 2009. I have over 10 years professional programming experience which includes 8 years of creating application software for scientific laboratory instruments.

Ideally I'm looking for a Software Development Manager, Team Leader or Senior Software Developer position. I hold a university degree in Computer Science and my main skills are developing Windows based applications using C#, C++, and ADO.NET that interface with hardware devices via rs232, modbus or TCP/IP.

My ideal job is with an engineering, industrial, or pharmaceutical company.
