Launched in 1994, the ISN (
www.isn.ethz.ch) is a non-profit, internationally re-nowned network promoting global security and cooperation. It provides high quality and comprehensive online information and e-learning services and prod-ucts for the international relations and security community.
In this position, you will lead the production of the ISN's information services. You will oversee the editorial direction of the ISN website and the presentation of its information services to serve the needs of the international relations and security community. You will coordinate all editorial activities, drive the commissioning, editing and production of our editorial products and services, and ensure the quality of the ISN's editorial content. You will work in close cooperation with mar-keting and IT teams and the ISN's parent organization, the Center for Security Studies, as well as liaise with partner organizations and external contributors.
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in editing or managing editorial products in an international media environment. As an innovative, original thinker familiar with world events beyond the headlines, you are well-connected in the international relations community. You have excellent knowledge of policy issues in the field of international relations and security policy.
You hold a university degree in political science, IR or a related discipline. You have outstanding IT competencies, a strong work ethic as well as a native level of fluency in English. You are well organized, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering quality results.
