Another English cleaning lady or a private English tutor available in St. Gallen area
Hi there!
I am currently an au-pair in St. Gallen but am looking for a change. I am 23 years old and from Canada. I have been in Switzerland since August 2006 and before that I was in Taiwan for two and a half years as an English teacer. I obtained my TEFL certificate through Oxford House and Trinity college in Prague, Czech Republic.
In Canada, I worked for the Government as an accounting clerk as well as a cleaning company part-time.
Right now I am busy with my current position but would be free soon. So I would enjoy hearing from people now so that we can work out the details. Please PM if you are interested.
By the way, my name is Amber!
Ciao
Amber

Amber why don't you apply in ZIS? Zurich International School? Maybe preschool, Kinder or pre-kinder. You can provably fit in kindergarten here or who knows even primary school! Just try and see.
I don't work yet I have two boys. 11 moths and two years old. If I know anything I will let you know! Just keep posted.

I assume you are suggesting that Usagi23 tries to get a teaching job at ZIS. Most of the schools would require full teaching qualifications or recognised nursery nurse qualifications rather than something like TEFL which is more associated with teaching adults. They also look for at least 2 years teaching experience. This would apply from preschool upwards.
If this is the sort of thing you want then private preschools would probably be a better bet however I think the only thing you would be offered would be trainee unless you have a childcare qualification.
