I will be starting work in a few weeks time .I am looking to find someone to care for my children from 15.30 to 19.00 every evening during the week ( 12.00 to 19.00 on wednesdays) and full time in the school holidays .

Lots of the pre-schools do after school care although I think many of them close at 18.30. This might be an option if you can't find a child minder.
