Try looking on the boards in Migros or the Coop, they always have adverts looking for people, or the local free magazines.

I recently moved to Luzern and have been looking for work in Luzern. I understand some German, but not enough to work in my area of training and experience.

I understand this and my plan is to do work which does not require lots of speaking but doing, like cleaning or such, while I am learning and improving my German.

Any advice on where to look or possibilities for such work?

Have you tried CARITAS Lucerne either as a volunteer or paid jobs ?
