Student lookin for Part-time job (as soon as possible) [Zollikon]

Hello,

I just moved in Zurich with my family 2 months ago. I am now currently taking German language lessons. And I was wondering If anyone knows where I can find a good part-time job (restaurants, shops, kiosk) Anything that does not require too much knowledge of Deutsch. But I could speak fluent English. I need a part time job to pay for the fee's of my Deutsch school in the following months. I am 17 years old. Please does anyone know where I can get a part time job??

Yes yes but I know simple conversations in Deutsch. Hoping I could find just a part-time job. So that I could continue my language lessons

Hi, you should try food chains like Mcdonald and big shopping stores like coop and migros. They always have part time jobs specially for student and I believe your little of knowledge of German will be enough. The website of these companies should be your first line of attack. Good Luck!

Re: Student lookin for Part-time job (as soon as possible)

If you have any background or interest in science or engineering, a fair amount of professors at local universities often look for unskilled grunt labor to do small tasks. Plus it looks good on a resume to say you worked at a school. Just research some professors at like ETH or something and shoot them an e-mail. Most of them speak quite good English. The worst they can say is no, and if you are lucky you can get some really awesome positions.
