I was just wondering at what age could a child start to learn to play the drums? My son, who is five, would love to learn to play either the drums or cello.

Five is fine. He taught a couple of 5 year old in the UK... Would say any younger than that then they dont generally have the attention span/patience to study an instrument. He would need a junior drum kit though, adult drum kits would be too big. Can't help with the cello. Sorry...
