19 year old American, looking for an English speaking company to continue

Hi!

My name is Marco Mahrer and I am searching for an English speaking company that would be interested in an ambitious, fast learning and very adaptable student. Having finished my first year of a three year apprenticeship at the British –Swiss Chamber of Commerce, where I have received a great start into my international career as a Kaufmann. I am now looking for a new position to continue my second year.

The reason I am searching for another company is because my school association, Berufslehr-verbund Zurich, only offer German speaking companies. The company that was originally set up for me by the BVZ decided to discontinue the apprentice positions at the last moment. I have therefore a very short amount of time in which to find a new position or have to drop the apprenticeship and start again.

I am the first KV student to attend the German speaking KV Business School in Zürich, after only having lived here for 18 months before I started the apprenticeship. I have now lived in Zürich for two in half years and am eager to finish my studies.

American, 19 year old Apprentice looking for an English speaking company to continue KV-Apprenticeship (ca. 1 year). Very good knowledge of German, no French. Skilled in all Microsoft Office Applications, Macromedia, Content XXL, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Image.

A bit after the fact and you may well have already found a place....but I suggest you try any of the American or British multinational companies in Switzerland. Eg. Nestle, Citigroup, etc. Good luck.

I think the poster meant more international company, not necessarily
an American or British one.

Hey! I've got one of those, too!

I had to sleep through a lot of Monday morning lectures to earn that, I can tell you!
