Funny book reviews from Amazon

this is from "You couldn't make it up" by Richard Littlejohn:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R149V...R149VU6BG8BJOV

samples:

Well I'm convinced
As an asylum seeker, I have been persuaded by this book to return to my homeland and face torture, rather than be trapped on an island of fat, tiny-brained bigots epitomised by this ringpiece. Everything they told me about infidels is true!

by Abdullah abdullah abdullah

Mr. Dm Harris "doctorcamel"
Never judge a book by its cover. Advice that can be safely ignored when the cover in question has the name 'Richard Littlejohn' on it. The man's head seems to be filled with evil worms and nonsense. Reading this is like being ranted at by a methed-up tramp, but with none of the charm. I notice people who bought this book also bought 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Last of the Summer Wine'. Plainly, Littlejohn's core audience consists of the deranged. The sort of people who eat vests and screech at blue cars.

The Chemical Engineers handbook (the bible of my profession, known simply as Perry)

Quote:
Perry has outdone himself once again. The seventh edition is even more of a show-stopper than the previous editions. I read this book from cover to cover in one sitting, unable to put it down for a moment, not even to relieve myself! The molecular weights were so accurate and the heats of reaction made my spine tingle. Once I reached the section discussing distillation and tray efficiencies I new I was hooked. I won't give away the ending but it's definitely a shocker. Bravo to Mr. Perry's and I am counting the days to the release of your 9th edition!

One of my favourites is for This is Spinal Tap

Quote:
If you’re going to make such an excellent documentary, why make it about about a band that nobody has ever heard of?

Getting similar behind-the-scenes footage on the Who, The Stones, or Genesis would have been a monumental achievment in documentary cinema.

But Spinal Pap?

and lastly, love this one- " These are PENS. Ink pens! For women.

Please, dear Amazonians, read the product description thoroughly before inserting anything you buy into any orifice. It will save you much shame."

an oldie but goodie!

Andrew says; I am giving this product a 5 because despite the fact that I think my bollocks might fall off, they are now completely hairless.

C.R. Whiteside
says: Thanks for your brutally honest review. This is a painfull lesson well heeded. Sorry for almost pissing myself laughing.

Being a loose cannon who does not play by the rules the first thing I did was ignore the warning and smear this all over my knob and bollocks. The bollocks I knew and loved are gone now. In their place is a maroon coloured bag of agony which sends stabs of pain up my body every time it grazes against my thigh or an article of clothing. I am suffering so that you don't have to. Heed my lesson. DO NOT PUT ON KNOB AND BOLLOCKS.

(I am giving this product a 5 because despite the fact that I think my bollocks might fall off, they are now completely hairless.)

Even when I buffered the lightning down to a few thousand volts, these cables burned out before revivification could take place. Worse, while wasting time with these the body began to putrify; now I have to go out and dig up fresh materials and spend all that time stitching them together again.
