Effective April 1st 2011.

I am delighted to announce that after careful consideration and negotiation with the existing owners of EnglishForum.ch, I have decided to purchase the domain name 'englishforum.ch' and all of the intellectual property, server infrastructure, and all associated trademarks, including the web service www.englishforum.ch

Over the next few weeks the English forum ("EF") will be ported to a paid subscription model , a premium service will be implemented for paying subscribers. For the foreseeable future , a free service , with limited access and restricted content will be available for registered users. An email with the full details will be sent to your inbox , so please ensure your personal details are up to date.

This sale is effective 1st April 2011 and full control we be handed over during that day. There may be some disruption to the service whilst DNS entries are updated and web site content replicated to the new servers. We hope to keep disruption to a minimum and apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

Furthermore, I would like to add my sincerest thanks to all the Moderators and wish them the best for the future. The new server management company will be taking the Forum Moderation duties over for the immediate future and I invite all interested parties to send me a PM to initiate the new Moderating team enrollment process.
