| | | Exorcist in Zurich?
I think there is a ghost in my house.
Does anyone know whether there is an Exorcist in Zurich who will get rid of it for me?
Personal recommendations are better.
I did try google first but to no avail.
I don't want this thread to turn into a discussion on whether ghosts exist or not, I just want contact details for an exorcist.
Thanks

Did you give something when the kids were tricking and treating?
Anyway, maybe the local priest can help.

Why did this get moved into jokes and funnies when other equally unproven nonsense such as homeopathic medicine requests don't?
I understand the mods should make judgements but the reasons that such threads get such a critical response is because of the subject matter.
There are exorcists within the Catholic church and requests for information about Catholic churches in Zurich remain in on-topic so why does my thread get removed.
I can only conclude that the mods make judgements about posters and not only post contents.
Oh, well, it's Friday (but luckily not the thirteenth ) |

You'd likely need to contact the nearest Catholic diocese to place a request for a Rite but...I'm not sure they even entertain such things anymore.
As an aside, you may remember the book/movie "The Exorcist". Most people don't know that it was based on an actual event with some details changed, e.g. it was a boy, not a girl, and it took place in St. Louis not DC. One of the Jesuit priests involved in the exorcism was a family friend and frequent visitor for Sunday dinners and he only spoke of the experience once and, aside from making me sleep with the light on for a long time, made me think that there was real substance to the story and the rite itself. I didn't believe that the child could speak in tongues, etc., and he reassured me that, indeed, the child spoke a multitude of languages including latin as if they were his mother tongue.
I never did hear how the child came to be possessed, but just be sure to sleep while clutching a crucifix and you should be safe. |

silly me, but I thought that for catholics exorcism is only when a person is possesed. When a location is involved, a regular blessing, or prayer of deliverance or whateva they should be called.
If that's the case then a normal priest should do.
EDIT: Your thread being moved??? shocker.... |

I have found this interview, but he seems to be talking about demonic possession.

I can do it for you.
Will take 3 hours and cost you chf 499.
Best if you leave me alone in the house, and let me get on with it.
preferably with some red wine and munchies. or I could bring my own...
p.s. you do have broadband, right?
