Thanks for that!

I haven't heard that since I was 9. I used to have it on a 45 and would play it on my brother's portable record player.

BTW - does anyone else think the guy on the vid looks ironically like Jeffry Dahmer?

"...hi..." said the goblin, wondering if he'd even come to the right place is though, besides his thoughts were more on the coffee machine at this point, so he just continued "...well there's not really much to say about me, married with kids I suppose, yes that's me then..." and then something crossed his mind "...you see, the trouble in one's introduction is simplythat if you never meet the other person, there's absolutely no way to prove anything since these are just words on your screen and the reader is blind by it, I mean anyone of us could be just anything then, who knows I could even be a human for that matter MYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no no just joking, thought it was funny though..."

What are you babbling on about? Have you been left unsupervised again

Just did a Google... seems he posts the same kind of thing the same thing in other places too, and appears he was even once banned after only 6 posts for being mistaken for a bot... lol... http://www.rationalskepticism.org/ne...an-t35954.html

And here in 2010 very similar stuff... http://absolutewrite.com/forums/show...lin-showed-up&

Internet footprint https://www.google.ch/search?q=fleam...m=122&ie=UTF-8

So yeah, umm, 'interesting'...

Re: and then the goblin showed up

"...no they're all other goblins, I can assure you now..." went the goblin denying everything to no avail it seems, then adding "...well simply I like to edit my posts while meeting you humans in the process, where admittedly none of my posts ever show malice now, I mean they're never rude nor crude nor nude but where the mere mention of "the goblin fleamailman" in some writing circles is enough to have all doors locked and bolted in haste, why, because I'm a livewriter and dare I even say that I'm one of the best ones out there today...", in fact, those bans only meant that he was on the wrong forum to begin with, smiling "...guess one stays where the pull is and leaves where the push is...", whereupon the goblin just dipped his hand into his coat pocket to pull out a thermos of coffee before pouring some of its contents into the lid to sip first, then gulp, then turning back to the humans again, he casually asked"...so why is a raven like a writing desk then, is it not because they both devour their authors in their own manner, so why compromise then, where life is not twice and where forumland is like an endless adventure..."

No problem , it's easy to recognise when writing is an escape for some people, and I wish you all the best of luck with whatever you are escaping from. When you decide to come out of that literary shell and interact like a normal person with a two-way conversation at the ready then please let us know.

He's self-contained to this thread. Everybody needs a hobby, I guess. Each to their own, live and let live!

"...no I wrote that last post this evening, I then uploaded the picture on writerscafe storing it in case of mishap here..." replied the goblin who often borrowed from himself redoing things but slightly differently though, adding "...and besides, whatever one writes it's always going to be spam to someone somewhere, where I'm the first to agree with you that you really shouldn't be reading my posts, but human weakness is not in what one reads then, more likely it's in that wanting to know what one thinks by way of reply to what one reads that holds someone here if at all...", at which the goblin just hailed aloud "...the readership is dead humans, long live the replyship now...", being the kind of idea that hadn't quite endeared him to those writers on their writer's forums, but that as they say is another story

I don't understand the content of some of your posts, but thank you for your explanation here.

Perhaps someday, it won't be unavoidable anymore?

Sure, whatever gets you through the day, but I'm sure you as an intelligent person know that what you are doing has almost zero longevity on the forum and is likely going to get tiresome very quickly unless you actually normalise it into a form that people can actually interact with in any constructive and meaningful way. This isn't a creative writing forum or artistic outlet for people escaping from the mundanity of normal life (though sometimes you could be forgiven for thinking such). Just saying.

The usual way of getting to know people (by their individual name or pseudonym and usage of direct speech (first person perspective), written or spoken) is much more likely to make people remember each other in positive and differentiated ways IMO.
Perhaps you will find people who think like you, but I'd hazard a guess that it won't be easy.

I disagree, it doesn't make me expect anything or make me curious. It makes things much more complicated, is all, and many aren't into minutely deciphering every text a poster makes on a forum. That might be unfortunate, but that's the way it is. Therefore I hope your style will change someday.
