and then the goblin showed up

"...hi..." said the goblin, wondering if he'd even come to the right place is though, besides his thoughts were more on the coffee machine at this point, so he just continued "...well there's not really much to say about me, married with kids I suppose, yes that's me then..." and then something crossed his mind "...you see, the trouble in one's introduction is simplythat if you never meet the other person, there's absolutely no way to prove anything since these are just words on your screen and the reader is blind by it, I mean anyone of us could be just anything then, who knows I could even be a human for that matter MYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no no just joking, thought it was funny though..."

Welcome to the forum. That's probably the oddest intro we've had for a while

Re: and then the goblin showed up

("...well, I'm legit here at least..." replied the goblin who lived in plainpalais, which as places within geneva went was somewhat downtown downtrodden and fun, then adding "...thanks for welcoming me though, really not much to about me, guess I'm just your average everyday to sort of goblin then, ask any other goblin they'll vouch for me I sure...", and with that the goblin was off to work but wished mirfield well in the process even if he remain anonymous by nature)

Re: and then the goblin showed up

Ah! The presumption of the addled goblin, for her words appear not on a screen, but rather they fly around and about, between the corners of the ends of afterwards and then some.

Shows you, eh? No beetles on me, young kobold there, hey?

Indeed.

Re: and then the goblin showed up

("...ah, I like you already, but I bet you say that to all the goblins though..." replied the goblin who always wrote like this since it served his purpose in hiding his background, asking "...is there somewhere I can write on this forum then, and would one be forgiven for doing so...", meanwhile the sun was fast reminding the goblin why it's always better to live in deep caverns, adding "...yes, I think I'd like a deep cavern with my coffee this morning though the thought of which will be enough to sustain me...")

Re: and then the goblin showed up

A cavern with your coffee might spoil the milk.

Better an ounce of flyce or a pretty of wellington, but where to buy at such a time of the forenoon? I recommend Heralds' Emporium on the Overway, but the passage is icy and welcomes are few.

Can you? Or isn't it before the oozing of the moonrush?

Re: and then the goblin showed up

("...well, we're all anonymous here, so I suspect that we're all talking to ourselves by that default there..." replied the goblin still thinking that a deep cool cavern would be nice in his coffee at least in theory then, before adding "...any place I can write on this forum then, I mean I'm quite prolific and in much need of escape seeing how hot geneva has been of late...", and with that the goblin thanked the humans once more for their warmly welcomes while thinking that no one sane would ever read this far, inquiring "...no,you haven't read this far have you, good as I'm sure this forum has writing standards to maintain now...", meanwhile the sun just fried anyone who walked out into the sunlight and baked those who didn't)

Ha ha! Welcome oh strange one.

the goblin welcomed hannah'sauntie to a seemingly normal forum with average members upon it, perhaps guessing that somehow she too had realized that something was amiss here, that they were, all to a man, just KGB agents just practising to be humdrum housewives, "...yes, you're asking yourself how in your heart you knew this all along, that is how when comrade admin appealed to her fellow proletariat members to rally up against the constraints of capitalism, you couldn't quite buy into the hidden bolshevik ideology there..." said the goblin pausing for the exact words again, he then continued "...no, like me, you didn't fall for it because their deception was in its way just too perfect to be real so it had to be false then...", "...brilliant holmes..." came the voice in the background as the goblin's three pipe solution was once more pressed into his pipe "...elementary my dear fellow, no one can post on this forum longer than three weeks without going mad, and the rest was just a simple deduction from there then...", where somehow the solution smoldered away in the goblin's mind now

("...but that's not my fault they do now is it..." replied the goblin apologetically then, adding "...just I try to post like everyone else does but then I kind of intellectualize somewhat, hence I asked for somewhere quiet where I could write on this forum in an inconspicuous goblinlike manner, quite unbeknownst to both the posters here and normal people alike about cabbages, kings, and stuff...", in fact, the sky was darkening now, chamonix, where the goblin was at this very moment seemed like night on bald mountain)

and with that the goblin welcomed TobiasM's comment, explaining "...actually, it's all hush hush yet I feel I can trust you here, where this forum is, in fact, just a front for the "homeland security service" and their operatives in their ongoing undercover work to root out the threat of cyber terrorism on the internet...", the goblin paused knowing that it was all too hard to comprehend in one go, but he continued "...simply think about it, which site would you least expect a cyber counter attack to originate from, that is between some ultra smart nerdy eastern block country, the taliban's website, or the nigerian spamming site, well any of those types of sites on the one hand, and well, just somewhere like this forum here then, where the members can, and do, manage to hit the post button from time to time, so that's right then you know all now, the members here are really ultra sharp "homeland security" operatives only pretending to be wretched swislovers, yes very snide of them I know but in fact they're probably the best america has..."

"...welcome to englishforum forum..." started the goblin feeling that he really should do more to thank those welcoming him here, adding "...rest assured then as you'll be happy to know that we have some of the greatest minds in all humanity just ready to answer your questions now, and where not we still have the members of the forum instead...", and with the goblin stamped his foot and turned the red carpet green once more before dipping his hand into his pocket to pull out a coffee table with the finest filtered coffee and home made biscuits, handing a cup to MacGregor's Daughter, saying "...you'll stay for tea won't you, I mean we do lavish attention upon those whom we find interesting..."

("...btw where can I actually write on this forum then..." repeated the goblin still hearing the occasional booms of passing thunder evem if the rain had stopped by now, geneva had cooled down at least, while outside in the park below the ravens and the gyipsies picked thier way through the remains of the day to find nests for the night, yet the goblin nightly adventure was only starting as he readied himself for yet another foray across forumland, saying "...you'll grow tied of my antics at some point then it'll be on to another venue I guess but I'm not malicious by nature and I do so love writing in posts now where much depends upon what you feed me...")

"... welcome those who have welcomed me..." said the goblin a little time since first joining this site, and yet the goblin had noticed by now a slight let up in everyones welcoming him here, so the goblin has decided to rewelcome all members who had welcomed him again while suggesting that we could hold a "welcome fleamailman week" with "welcome fleamailman" badges and flags, etc., "...anyway as always I am open to input and debate on this subject afterwards..." ventured the goblin with such magnanimous generosity towards his fellow posters here
