Bumper sticker wisdom

I know, bumper stickers have really faded from the scene since their heyday back in the 70's and in Switzerland they're even scarcer than in English speaking countries but I saw one today on the back of a vehicle (written in English) which made me smile.

It read:

Always take life
with a grain of salt..

.
.
.
.
.
plus a slice of lime
and a shot of Tequila

I saw this in a car park at Migros the other day. It was on the back of a 4x4 whose driver had left the engine idling:

Re: Bumper sticker wisdom

OOOh, I love bumperstickers, although I've never had any on my car - too many to choose from (plus my husband didn't think I should pi** people off). It's pathetic that I can list these from memory....

Some of my favorites -

If a**holes could fly, this would be an airport!

(no ** in the bumper sticker, of course)

Come the rapture, can I have your car?

Dog is my copilot

My other car is a broom

And of course, all of the politcal ones....

e.

"Work is for people who don't surf"
But I think you have to be a surfer to really understand this one.

Another good one is "If you're riding my ass you better be pulling my hair".
I saw this one in California with my brother. We pulled up beside the car and saw a fat chinese guy behind the wheel.

One that left me a little perplexed, as I saw it twice this weekend:

"I love (heart) Fluglarm"

or my old personal favourite from the late 1970s:

"Save Gas. Fart in a Jar"

Ahh, the Fluglärm/Aircraft noise - means he's an Zurich Airport supporter (with the new fly-over routes and so on, so he probably does not live close )

I like the democracy-sticker, shame they never really caught on here...
