Humanist has become a little unpopular
Whatever happened to government documents in English?

Correct me if I am wrong but I read few year ago that all governement doucuments were going to be made available in English as well (in Zurich atleast). Whatever happened to that? Maybe it was a dream I am confused

dude, governmanet documents are often not available in Italian so you probably should explain to your fellow taxpayer why their funds should be used to produce documents in English.

And then explain to the other non-German, French, Italian speakers why their language is not being covered

Often at federal level some documents will be able in English, but at the canton level you generally only get the language of that canton. For example if you live in the French-speaking part and you get caught by a speed camera in Zurich they will send you all the documentation in German, which people on the other side of the Röstigraben probably can't read.

You will find that some places such as the motor registry may produce some documents in other languages. I recall seeing some info sheets in Turkish, English and various other languages last time I was there.
