If anyone has a few minutes I would love it if someone could help me with a few phrases for a party invite.

I had held on to a few the kids had received to crib off but have accidentally thrown them away aarrgghh

so I want to say

Abbie is 7
Party Mittwoch 20 April after school until 1500
my address. children to walk together
(after party those children who cannot walk home my mum will bring home by car)
please bring a painting apron
Hope you can come - please reply to handy XXXXXXX

some of the kids go home to a neighbouring village by school bus hence the note about taking home by car - we have alot of farm kids and i don't expect the parents can abandon work to collect kids from a party.

Just keep flexible about the numbers. In my experience, sometimes they say "yes" and never show up... sad for the birthday kid...

we have had a few Swiss parties and they have been a great success - I keep it very small and craft heavy and the kids seem very content with my crappy German and strange food.

My daughter will be checking with her classmates about attendance so we don't get any surprises lol.

I do have a back up plan though

I would actually address the invitation to the children, not the parents. Therefore I would suggest:
“Abbie wird 7.
Die Party findet am Mittwoch 20. April nach Schulende bis 15.00 Uhr bei Abbie zu Hause statt. Wir Kinder werden nach der Schule zusammen zu Abbie laufen. Nach der Party werden diejenigen Kinder, welche nicht selbst nach Hause laufen können, mit dem Auto nach Hause gebracht.
Bitte bring eine Malschürze mit.
Ich hoffe, dass du kommen kannst und bitte dich, dich unter folgender Natelnummer anzumelden."
