french lessons in fribourg

Hi everyone

I've jsut arrived in switzerland... about 2 months now... and I would like to learn french. I have taken a migro course, but because of my work I can't do it anymore. Does anyone know of anyone who can provide me with private french lessons?

I wouldn't mind university students, in fact anyone who can teach french will do.

thanks !!

Robert

Well I can teach you Quebecois ;-)

Seriously though, the language schools here are not that great and private lessons a fraking rip-off. 100CHF per hour in a school!!!!!!!!
I guess if you find somebody at University it will be much cheaper.

I guess you can go to the Fri University and look at the board with "les petits annonces" some people may post offers to teach French. I am thinking of doing the same for German.

Come on, no one can learn that, and it is not a language!! it is people chewing food while talking. (kinda like Swiss german. no, that is more like clearing your throat or horkin a loogey)
BEFORE ANYONE GETS OFFENDED, I'M JUST KINDING WITH A FELLOW CANUK...

Yeah, I find Quebecois to be as aurally pleasuarable as Swiss German; as in nails on a blackboard.

Re: french lessons in fribourg

Robertlin,

both my wife and I are finding it very difficult to find a French Teacher in Fribourg who does not request a mortgage for his services.

We would be quite interested in maybe setting up a small class for maybe an enterprising person to teach us all at a sensible rate.

Any guys in the forum who would be interested in being a pupil or undertaking the lessons please PM me.....
