I am thinking of signing up for several units of German with Sprachmax (a.k.a. Sprachenschule?). They use the A1 - C2 language level system, according to Goethe, Alliance Francaise, CELI, DELI, Cambridge, etc. It will cost me quite a bit of money, and I badly need to improve my German so that I can get work - I am currently at B2 level.
I was at Migros Klubschule, and it was good, but it was only 3 hrs a day. I like how Sprachmax/Sprachenschule facilitate more of a crash-course level of learning, as most of my week is free, so I have the time. But, is it a proven, validated system?
Hi,
what sort of validation do you mean? Eduqua certified? On http://www.eduqua.ch set the filter in their search to canton LU and main category Sprachen - this institute is listed as Eduqua certified.
Schutsim, thanks for that. I don't quite understand, though: are Sprachmax/Sprachenschule a well-recognised company? I cannot find them on http://www.eduqua.ch.
Check out these http://www.kvbildung.ch/sprachschule, they are all using the official certification system, but you can look for different schools/offers.
Hi jfl,
I can recommend the Language School International. I was able to do a 2 week crash course there a couple of years ago, which meant I was busy from 9-3 every day. I didn't do it for a certificate but there were others there that were studying for an exam provided by the school.
Hope this helps.
