Verify google translation

Sinus Infection = Sinus Infektion

Is this correct? It just sounds to good (easy) to be true

Have to go to a doc on monday for it (as I am flying wednesday) and want to make sure I have the right word for it.

Thanks

Stirnhöhleninfektion / Kieferhöhleninfektion (ö = oe if you have no Umlaut keys). Sinusitis, as in English, is just a generic term for an inflammation of any kind of sinus.

Besides frontal and maxillary sinuses, there are quite a few more paranasal sinuses, all of them prone to infections too. And there are more sinuses in the human anatomy that have nothing to do with the nose.
