That's a very broad question. There's a wide range of courses, but I guess the main factors are: money and who's paying it.

I use to take a "ETH german course" which was a waste of time. Now I am in Bellingua and I like it much more,.. but it is way more expensive.

So, it is really a money issue.

Got Mixed reviews about Migrosklubschule....you are looking for intensive course or once or 2 times pro week??

I would highly recommend EB Zürich. After 1 month of intensive classes I started to speak German. The price is one of the cheapest in the city because it is partly financed by canton. For intensive course of 20 lessons per week it was 780 CHF and the quality is high. I know 4 teachers from there as I changed the group once and they all were very qualified.

I'm searching an evening course 2 times a week. Basically, after work.
