I have been studying with them for a year in the evening classes. I've had the same teacher through the entire time, but unfortunately she has just left.
I've been happy with the classes and teaching so far.

They didn't do a bad job with me. The class sizes can be large, especially with the A1 A2 levels, but do shrink when you get into the more advanced classes. Personally I didn't find a problem with this, but others might.
I can't really compare them to any other school as ECAP is the only one I attended, and also bear in mind that my experience with them is now nearly 5 years old. However I get by quite happily in German now.
One thing to bear in mind is that, regardless of where you learn German, you'll only get out what you put in.

I attended a intensive German course for 6 months in Basel. The teachers were great and very experienced. I learned quite a lot but there were too many students (15 or more) in the class. No opportunities to practise your speaking. But I liked the school.
