Do you know a languajes school or a private french teacher (woman better )?

Do you know the tariffs?

Thanks for all, again

Re: French teacher for french lessons

Have you seen this thread?? It's a start... Also, their lessons aren't private, but the Migros School in the Flon district of Lausanne offers intensive lessons for beginners, and they're much cheaper than having a private tutor. Prices are listed on the website.

Re: French teacher for french lessons

No worries about not being able to find information at first. I think sometimes the search function doesn't always live up to it's reputation (which annoys me too... sometimes I even search for a specific thread I know I've read before and I can't find it. )

Also, a good hint is to look at the bottom of the page for 'similar threads'. For example, at the bottom of this page you might find a few more threads containing useful info.

Cheers,

HeatherM

Re: French teacher for french lessons

I have just started a French course at the university in Friboug, it has a far better reputation than Migros and the prices are more or less the same, try checking out your local Uni. you my find the course has started already but only by a couple of weeks, it shoudnt be too hard to catch up...Good Luck !

Re: French teacher for french lessons

I did a 6-week intensive course at the University of Lausanne this summer. Learned a lot, met a lot of nice people and had a lot of fun!

Have a look at the website
http://www.unil.ch/cvac/page49251_en.html
Seems they are offering a 3 week intesive course, starting January.

Even though I learned a lot... I still need more lessons.
I am now going twice a week to the free lessons in the city at:
Espace Hommes – La Mozaïk
Rue des Côtes de Montbenon 15

Re: French teacher for french lessons

Hi Kelly,

Do you have more information on the Free french lessons. I followed the link but the website is not very good- I sent an email to someone there but not sure what will happen. Is this a state government organization?
Thanks

Re: French teacher for french lessons

Hi again,
I heard about these lessons from a girl I met at the French Vacation Course at the UNIL.
I know they offer classes in the evenings on different levels.
At the moment I am doing the beginners level, this is on Wednesday evening and Thursday evening from 18:30 till 20:00.
I dont know the timeschedules for the other levels.
All the teachers are volunteers and lessons are given for free, you only have to pay 10 ChF registration fee.
If you are an absolute beginner I would advice to go to another type of course, like the 3 week intensive course at the UNIL.
The classes are ok, our teacher is very sweet and doing her best but the quality is not the same as you get at the UNIL for instance.
Hope this helps, regards Kelly
