| I recently passed the C1 exam and am wondering what other people did after that level. I feel equally interested in learning to speak Swiss German, continuing on with my high German, and bringing my very VERY rusty French back to useable order.
It would help knowing how long it might take to get from C1 to C2, but the information out there is a bit hard to find, especially since "C1" as a search term is too short for the forum search function. | |

Congrats. I used mine a bit at first and then let it rust over a number of years (replacing my OK authentic-ish accent with a French accent - I moved to France), before frantically trying to get it back when interviewing for the job that brought me here. Guess it was not too rusty after all

WRT French, not sure how rusty you are, but there is a group called
Les Jeudis Francophones I signed up on arrival here, but have yet to go to an event. Otherwise to keep a language, practice. To improve, read.
English, French, German, Swiss German. Nice. So when are you starting Italian?

Don't think I'll ever get onto Romansche...
