Questions about LSI Language school Zurich

Does anyone know anything about this language school? I would appreciate your advice if you have any experience with them.

Their prices seem affordable and it is flexible as they say I can start any time but this is what worries me. If I can start any time then I suppose it might be disorganized and the level of teaching, well, I'm not so sure.

I live in Zug and here we have Berlitz. I heard many positive opinions about their teaching style and the results but maybe this is not the best choice financially?

Price is not everything but of course I would like to buy the best deal.
Which language school would you recommend in Zurich? I also consider going to Lucerne for the course and the best would be intensive course. Maybe others will find some useful information here too.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Re: Questions about LSI Language school Zurich

My daughter has attended LSI Zurich for 4 months. She had no knowledge of German when she started. She likes the school and we are pleased with the progress she has made. Some of her teachers have been good and others have been better. So far we can't say she's had a bad teacher (even the subs).

Back in July, she started in a class already in progress. At first she felt overwhelmed because everyone else seemed so much more advanced. She stuck with it and eventually caught up (within ~5 weeks). After about 12 weeks her class was combined with another class that was about one week ahead of hers. She was apprehensive about it but, again, within a couple of weeks, students from both classes were at the same level. The teachers seem very capable at handling these transitions.

Also, the school seems to be flexible in allowing you to move up/down a level if need be.

She has made many friends. The hardest part is saying goodbye to them when they start new jobs or return to their home countries.

Based on our experience, I am happy to recommend the school.
