I need help with German language contract in Basel

Hi Everyone,

I currently attending Academia Sprachschule in Basel (http://www.academia-basel.ch/en/home.html), and I would like to leave early on my contract. However, they to not give refunds. They say that I have to find someone to take over some or all of my remaining contract.

Does anyone know someone that would like to take Lauguage classes in Basel or have advice for finding someone?

They teach English, German, French, Italian, Swiss German, and more (private or intensive courses).

I would give the contract away on a 35% discount. For example, for one month of intensive B1-C2 German course would normally cost CHF 812.-, but with the discount it would cost CHF 528. They could save CHF 284.

Sorry for posting this here, but I am desparatly looking for someone.

Thanks for your time,
Scott.

Re: I need help with German language contract in Basel

Hi gargpu,

Of course it would help. The contract is more like a credit system. You would start a new contract with them, and you would use the money from my contract to place on yours. I just used B1-C2 German classes as an example. They have many different courses (plenty of beginner courses) that you can take. I would suggest you talk to the people at academia and see if they have what you are looking for. If they do have something you like, contact me, and you can get 35% off their asking price. And you would also help me out a lot.

Let me know if you are interested,
Scott.

Thanks Scott. I was in the process of evaluating all the German teaching institutes. Let me meet these folks tomorrow about their courses & get back to you. Puneet.

Re: I need help with German language contract in Basel

Hi Scott, I spoke to Academia on phone yesterday, but their prices for a normal A1 course seem to be pretty high (close to 3000 CHF) . I have a face to face appointment with them today @10. Let me have a word with them for any rebates because even with your 35% this was a bit on the higher side for me. Cheers, Puneet.
