Who would read my first GAY novel and give feedback?

Who is an US expat and would like to read my first GAY novel and give me feedback?

I'm writing on the first draft of my first novel. It will be ready in a few weeks.
I'm not a native speaker, but my English is quite good. The story is set in the US, so I would at least need somebody from there to read through it. It would be good if you had at least ‘average’ writing skills.

You should be gay or at least sympathetic to the subject of gay teenagers (17) and to gay rights issues. The story is fictional, but it's based on a true story that was in the news last year. It’s not pornographic, but I’m aware that many straight (male) readers can be very wary as soon as the subject of ‘man-on-man action’ is hinted at. So please be warned.

I'm not a writer and I'm not looking for a professional corrector. It should more be a fun thing or enjoyable for you to point out stuff that doesn't work, on the language level or else, and give me feedback about parts of the plot that maybe are no good.

I am aware there are a lot of people looking for a job, but I'm sorry, that's not what I'm offering here.

If you're interested, I can give you German or Swiss-German lessons in exchange. Even basic French is possible, but I'm not a native speaker.

Please note, I don't have any ‘ulterior motives'.
I've never done anything like that before, but maybe it will be an interesting experience for both of us?

Thanks for your replies.

Kind regards

Sounds like fun and I'd like to help you out but unfortunately I'm not in Bern. It would probably be better if you were able meet with the person providing you with feedback, at least periodically. Good luck with your project!

Thanks for the reply! Zurich is still on my map. An hour of travel by train is no obstacle for me. There would be no strings attached -- other than not to publish it under your own name (I'm joking). I could also send you a sample and you decide if you like it or not.

Re: Who would read my first GAY novel and give feedback?

I've sent you a PM.

Actually, we recently gave a friend of ours feedback on certain aspects of a novel he had written. His novel was set in the States and he wanted to know if he had gotten certain things right regarding healthcare, etc.
