iPhone Swiss German App?

I just moved to Zürich a couple days ago, and I am looking for a good Swiss German phrase book for my iPhone that speaks the words to me. Nothing super fancy, just something that reminds me how to ask/answer basic questions and have simple conversations. Any recommendations?

Have you actually looked on the App. Store?

There's not a big selection ...... about 2 - in between the Swiss Radio apps.
The one with the big Swiss flag seems to be a talking dictionary.
UTalk costs more.

Re: iPhone Swiss German App?

the most important phrase to learn is:

"s tuet mir so leid, aber chönd si Englisch?"

when asked in this manner, you put the other party in the untenable position of either responding in English or of admitting their inability to speak the language. I bet you 10 CHF that 99% of the answers you get will be, "a little".

P.S. the part about everyone switching to English was a little tongue-in-cheek, all it means is "I'm very sorry, but can you (do you speak) English?" basic phrases are always helpful, but sometimes a polite request goes a long way.

I am not sure if this comes in an app, as well, but it is perhaps the best basic phrase book I was able to find that took English into Swiss German:
