Hello.

I'm looking for the French teacher in Nyon for my wife.
She's started learning French since for 3 month via Skype, but she wouls like to start face-to-face lesson.
She speaks German and her native is Russian.

If you have an experience in teaching and willing to teach, could you please connect my mailleg.rusinov@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance.

Does the teacher need to speak English as well? You could easily find someone I am sure.

Thank you.

We have found 3 russian-speacking teachers (30 CHF/hour)in Geneve. But they dont want to go to Nyon.
And there are some in Nyon, but they would like to pay 70-100 CHF/hour.
And all Nyon courses close in summer.

May be we just wait next course season in autumn.

and what about Lausanne? I see everyday many ads about language courses in Lausanne and localities. One of my acquaintance took courses and was very satisfied with the quantity(cost) and quality. you can look ads through free newspapers or in ads Internet sites ( in the education or courses part) where you can find students generally they are much more cheaper and can come to you as many stay here in summer and work.

And another thing - to find a kinder garden for our son.
We phoned all of them in Nyon, but no result... All are full for next year.

to phone gives nothing! you have to write a letter to all possible places and request to put your baby on a waiting list and mark the date you would like him to go to the kindergarten, may be it can give smth. as i was explained they form the groups basing on the kids subscribed in advance in waiting lists in April ( to start going to kng in September)so this year it is almost impossible ( only private). I have already done it for 2009 - 1.5 in advance but in all places i was said "may be", generally to have a desirable result it is done here when mom is pregnant

Re: I'm looking for a French teacher in Nyon

As for the day care. I would say kee trying. Last year my wife started calling from the UK around about April time for a place starting in August that year.. We managed to get a place in Creche croquelune for what amounted to 3 days a week. Now only after 2 weeks there they were able to offer us a full 5 days a week as people had dropped out at the beginning. When she initially called round she got nothing available. However she kept calling every couple of weeks to see if the situation had changed at any of the facilities. We got lucky and they were able to fit us in.

Actually we found it harder to find an apartment in Nyon than childcare.

Good luck, I too am trying to learn French it's all practice practice and more practice.
