Gemeinde-hosted German courses - are they good?

Hi there

I am going to attend a german language course held by the Gemeinde. It is an offer given to foreigners having kids in public schools here in Switzerland. Its kind of cheap compared to other private language courses but the quality-does anyone know? I guess my question is: Has anyone attended such a course and what is your judgment?

Go to the Migros Klubschule!
There you learn many practical things in a comfortable environment.

I atteneded one of these for a while and found the quality to be as good as any lessons I had elsewhere. Like all schools it will depend upon the teacher more that the cost.
