Need to Learn German More Effectively, Able to Offer English or Chinese in Exchange

I'm a Singaporean working in Beringen but I stay in Schaffhausen. I've been picking up the basics of German on my own but finding it tough to get a good grasp of the grammar.

The thing is that I can probably put together a simple sentence and hopefully get people to understand me. But my limited vocabulary hampers my ability to comprehend what others are saying to me.

My main concern right now is to be able to converse fluently at work and on the streets. I need to find a way to learn the language effectively rather than tackling it blindly.

So bottomline is that I'm trying to find someone who knows German well and wishes to improve on their English or Chinese. Hopefully we can help each other out.

As mentioned above I stay in Schaffhausen so if by chance anyone is nearby do drop me a PM or make a reply here.

Schönen Abend!
