Schaffhausen - High German practice / English for German

I've been studying my little heart out on Rosetta Stone and am almost done with it. It has been a great program to get some basics down - but I really need to work on the conversational side. I practice with my partner daily - but am looking for others who may be in the same boat as me (English learning High German). I'm happy to also do High German exchange for English.

I live and work in Schaffhausen but work US business hours which means I'm available mornings until about 1pm during the week.

PM if you are interested.

Tschüss -

Re: Schaffhausen - High German practice / English for German

For me Rosetta Stone has been very helpful. I've managed to learn to communicate on simple daily issues and it has provided a good foundation for future learning. However - it is what you put into it - and it is only a computer program. As my thread indicates - I need more of the conversational aspect which is lacking from the computer program. But otherwise I find it a good value. Once my German is more advanced I plan on buying the French version to help remember those school lessons from so long ago-
