Hi daza, actually I noticed something in the tandem thread. If you have a language to offer in return that is desired, you might find the tandem thread useful (e.g. this post: Find Your Tandem/Language Exchange Partner on EF!).

Regarding the original poster's question. I'm studying German at university, I'm learning Swiss German independently in preparation for my arrival in Zurich and I'm also learning a little Russian (a language and country I have always been fascinated about).

I read my romanic newspaper every day, I would love to talk and exchange more with people from the Engadin region.
What paper do you get?

I was learning it, then I met my girlfriend (well, at least my Italian has vastly imporved, to the point my kids don't get upset when they hear me speak it!)

Should have kept it up, I work with a Rumantsch speaker (from Engiadina, so not the same I was learning (Surselvan), but he understands them all).

I do watch the Rumantsch programs on TV when I remember to watch/record them.

Tom
