I recently joined my new job in a Pharma company in Basel and moved to this region. I found this forum very helpful and informative. (Thanks moderators)

I intend to join some English speaking conversation group in Basel city.
If there are some English speaking ppl who meet regularly at some place, I would like to join them. Please guide me when and where they meet.

If there is no English conversation group, I intend to start one.

My suggestions for this group are....

Any one can join it,
Meeting regularly at some place (restaurant) in Basel for a drink or so.
We can select one day (working day) when we can meet at some fixed time...... (may be Thursday at 7 or 8 pm)
You can come and go anytime.
We can talk about anything .... from politics to fashions....

I would like to invite all senior members (for some advice or guidance) and juniors and newbies (for having fun).

Change the English>German and I might be interested

You might try joining in with the monthly curry club thingy - look on the Events area. You can talk about any topic between mouthfuls of tikka masala.

Centrepoint has tons of events going on and it's always in English...

They also have English conversation groups but if you're advanced, you probably will do find just going to some of their events.
