Re: German language schools in Zurich

Who knows where is better to make a preparation course for C1 exam? I was learning german in Alpha till last April, but now they tell me I need to do a test before they will allow me to visit this course. May be somewhere else I won't need to write this test?

Re: German language schools in Zurich

I would recommend TLC. I did a semi-intensive B1 there. It's a bit expensive but the teachers were rather cool.

Re: German language schools in Zurich

Alpha Sprach studio has intensiv courses that start at the beginning of every month. They are located right at Stadelhofen train station. Their intensive classes are about 4 hours a day for one month and costs about 1200 chf. Good luck!

I can recommend Roth Language Atelier http://www.languageatelier.com/index.html

I am going there for semi-private lessons but they also have group courses on different levels.

Re: German language schools in Zurich

I highly recommend Allegra. I took their evening class for 2x per wk for 2.5 hrs each. I think this went at a good place, and the teacher was very good at explaining everything in german, despite this being a A1 class.

Re: German language schools in Zurich

Additionally, I had also took a Swissing class. I felt like my Swissing instructor was less serious about really making sure we learned german, and we spoke quite a bit of english in the course.
