Something about "Onkel Gustav" in Inglorious Basterds

Hi

In Inglorious Basterds when Miss Hammersmark explains to Colonel Landa that she suffered a mountain climbing accident I think he says something about her cast looking as fresh as something from "Onkel Gustav".

Did I understand correctly?
What does he say exactly?
Is this a well-known german expression?
Where does it come from?

Thanks

Regards

Anyone?

I am starting to wonder if this guy isn't DB's Uncle Bertrand's german cousin

Of course if he is I am sure he wears Lederhosen on a permanent basis.
