Migros english courses?

I'm a native English speaker, so for kicks I just took the Migros online placement test. Apparently my English has progressed to the point that I can start at level B2.

There were also noticeable errors in some of the questions, and places where the "correct" answer required phrasing that I don't think a speaker of British or American English would use. (I'm afraid I don't know the peculiarities of Indian English.)

Hopefully they do a bit better with the local languages.

Re: Migros english courses?

Me too also only got 31 our of 36 right, looks like 8 yrs here is killing my english.

It's a pity only the B1 level is available online. I have the same result in my Zertifkat Deutsch from Goethe!

I'll write to 'em.

Yes, it's weird that you can't do the higher level tests. But I had no difficulty getting 36 our of 36. I couldn't see any difficulty, except maybe the first couple.

Re: Migros english courses?

Yeah I'm sure the ones I got wrong were just stupid mistakes. There were a few times where I noticed my brain was just sort of changing the incorrect word order into correct word order.

But it just seems like no matter how well you do, you can't place in anything higher than B2.
