I've been looking a pen-like dictionary/scanner that you can point at the page and it will scan the text and translate it from German to English.

Does anyone have a clue where such devices are being sold? Book stores? MediaMarkt?

I've searched previous EF threads, but no luck yet.

I had one of those five years ago. Actually, it looked exactly the same as in the link above. So they do not seem to be developed on anymore?

Although I hardly used it, the thing broke just after the warranty period. I would go for a "regular" translator instead.
