Someone else can improve on this, but basically it looks like: "How's it going? The sun in Miami is tops, and you're freezing your a$$ in Jersey."

It's funny how random people like you come to the forum and on their first posts request all sort of information.....

It means: "How are ya? The sun in Miami is off the hook and you are freezing you a** of in Jersey"

..sure no problem. Welcome to the forum. You could make up for it by writing a little introductory thread.

Welcome to the forum... don't let the rude/harsh responses get to you... you get used to it after awhile

This is right on. I recently learned saying something is "der Wahnsinn" is as acceptable as "der Hammer." Slang is where it's at.

Re: HELP! need translation from swiss-german to english

My name I Rafael, I was born in Brazil but live in the USA. I'm 24, and the reason I need help with Swiss-German is I have a friend who speaks it..I've used some bits and pieces of the language i've found online to put together a few sentences and I think now it seems like i know more than I do... so thanks again for the help you guys are giving...that was a very quick way to find a translation...I've previously sat for hours trying to decipher her messages like a puzzle with some german some french... I hope you guys can help me again soon
