Re: Multi-lingual celebrities

The late actor Ben Gazzara spoke perfect Italian (not surprising, as his parents were Italian immigrants), he even acted in several Italian movies.

Reberto Begnini, Ornella Muti, Jean Reno, and Gerard Depardieu all speak English.

Carla Bruni speaks a bunch of languages.

My second cousin was married to the German actor, Hardy Kruger - she taught him how to speak French.

Re: Multi-lingual celebrities

He does better than Facebook! Their translation: "Rafe Fiennes was struck by the reviews of the Moscow premiere #007 spectrum of speech in English"

It should of course say "in Russian" - ironic.

Some Toffs parents pronounced their sons names Raif when it's spelt Ralph.
Lord Montagu of Beaulieu inflicted this on his son.
