I've been looking for a german for a few days. I have a problem. I know that it may sound stupid but i hope you help me. I had to write a letter in german, and that letter has to be written without mistakes because i wanna get the best grade. And my question is, would anybody chech my letter and correct mistakes? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Liebe Agnes!

Herzlichen Dank für Deinen Brief. Ich habe mich darüber sehr gefreut.

Ich heiße Paweł, ich bin 17 Jahre alt und wohne in Polen. Meine Familie besteht aus 5 Personen. Das sind: ich, meine Mutter - sie heißt Lucyna und arbeitet im Krankenhaus, mein Vater, und meinen zwei Brüdern. Ihre Vornamen sind Łukasz und Mateusz. Łukasz ist älter als Mateusz. Er ist 18 Jahre alt. Mateusz ist noch Schüler und lernt in der Grundschule. Meine Familie ist wirklich nett und zu Hause herrscht eine freundliche Atmosphäre. Ich interessiere mich für Filme. Am meisten mag ich Horrorfilme. Mein Hobby ist Schwimmen. Ich liebe Tauchen oder die Wasserrutsche. In meiner Freizeit gehe ich gern ins Kino oder höre Musik.

Hi Pawel,

Sorry can't help but it was fun reading your letter as I understood it completely! Considering I have 2 years of German from about 20 years ago in school and rarely used it since (I'm in the French part) that made my day. Probably also means that your letter needs a bit of work . I'm sure one of the helpful regulars will lend a hand.

In addition to jj muge's corrections, I have some others to propose. "Sehr darüber gefreut" sounds more natural than "darüber sehr gefreut" imho, and in German it is considered rather rude to mention yourself first. In a list of people, you go last
