I'm interested in learning Italian on a biweekly basis but have had no luck in locating institutes or language schools that offer Italian classes more than once a week. I reside in St. Gallen but am amenable to travelling to Winterthur or Zurich for classes or tuition. Does anyone know of a place that offers biweekly or triweekly lessons in Italian? If not, is there anyone who is fluent in the language and willing to offer private tuition?

I am an absolute beginner.

Benedict, BVS (Inlingua) and Migros Klubschule all offer Italien courses in St. Gallen, no?

I believe you overlooked certain things. While I am aware all the aforementioned schools offer courses in Italian, they are only offered on a weekly basis. I am searching for something a little more frequent, say, biweekly.
