AFAIK. As both you and your wife are working your AHV contributions would be separate. Hence you should be able to claim your AHV. Should you return to Switzerland after your education, it might get complicated however.
Have you checked this with the company you are currently working for? To my knowledge the organization should normally arrange this refund.
p.s. Best of luck for your higher studies

| Hi all,
I've a very unique case. I'll be leaving Switzerland soon to pursue higher education in another country. My wife will stay back in Switzerland and work from here. I'll quit my job here and de-register completely.
In the form for 'CLAIM FOR REFUND OF OASI CONTRIBUTIONS' it's mentioned, "Yourself and your family (spouse and children under 25) must have left Switzerland or intend to live outside Switzerland
definitively".
Questions:
1. Does this mean I can't apply the claim now and can do that only after my wife also leaves Switzerland in future?
2. For how many years it remains valid to apply for OASI contributions?
I'll really appreciate any feedback on this matter.
Thanks & Regards,
