I am studying here just for the semester and I need to ship some of my stuff home in order to travel lightly later on. I would like to ship a smaller piece of luggage (I used it as a carry-on) with stuff in it from Switzerland to the East Coast of the U.S.
Any ideas on what would be the least expensive way to do that??

Or, if you can't think of any thing and think I should just abandon my piece of luggage....any ideas on what would be the best/cheapest way to ship approx. 10-15 KG??

Just hang around the airport and look for an innocent looking old lady about to check in to the relevant destination, and ask if she'd take it for you "No Questions Asked" ; adding that: .... "you'll be met at the other end by a big guy, who'll slip you a few green folding ones ... OK?"

we shipped most of our household here by packing suitcases full of books and clothes (thats really all we have ) and sending it on the plane with friends, lucky for us we have a good amount of friends who travel between france and nyc often- can you ask anyone from school/work/friends to help you out?

Where on the east coast and when are you needing it brought back to US? I might be able to help.

Swiss Post. I have sent many boxes to the U.S. and as long as it is under 20kg it only costs 101 CHF. Though I am not sure if you would need a box or not.
