Cancelling Swisscom Landline and Internet

I was expecting this to be problematic however one call to their helpdesk and they have agreed to cancel our account without any written notification. We have been customers with them for three years so not sure if this made things easier or not.

Glad to see not all leaving processes take lots of paper work and patience

Re: Cancelling Swisscom Landline and Internet

They informed us that they will send a letter confirming cancellation and they updated the contract end date on the phone. I guess we will wait and see but I was expecting it to be a lot more hassle having read some of the contributors experience.

Re: Cancelling Swisscom Landline and Internet

yep, exactly the same experience I had

was thinking that it'll be problematic with a written letter, but a phone call in English did it all Have received the written confirmation as well. btw, just so you know, the SMS notification will only come on the day that the line is disconnected.

Re: Cancelling Swisscom Landline and Internet

I have called Swisscom and cancelled over the phone and we need 2 months notice, and then you deliver the box to a shop

seems easy for Switzerland
