Temporary leaving

Have got a job in France November until April, so will be leaving Swiss for 6 months and then coming back again...

Saves me getting residency this year as will still not have been here 90 days.

Will probably import my car to France so that I don't need to go back to the UK next year for the MOT.

Not sure how it works if I'm in France 6 months and Swiss 6 months as I'm likely to be in France every year from November to April and Swiss from May to October.

Seems a bit silly to keep changing residency every 6 months, but not sure what I'm supposed to do in this situation.

Anyone know?

Probably nowhere as I go to the UK and Spain as well.

Can I stay in Switzerland more than 90 days if I'm resident in France?

But how would anyone know how long I am in Switzerland anyway, they never check passports.

I think French residency might be easier, as it's in the EU.
