Well I finally did it, I found a job back in the US and I'm taking it. While a lovely place to live, Switzerland has just never felt like home, perhaps a bit of the fault lies with me, my German language skills were never spectacular, but I did do my best. Anyway, thanks to everyone on this forum, it has been an invaluable resource during my stay. Best of luck to all of you whatever you may do!!

Yes, I'll be leaving on the 29th. Kind of short notice for the Swiss firm, but the US firm wanted me after only 2 weeks, I had to negotiate a bit with the folks here and agree to do a bit of part time work via phone to help out. They already know they can't replace me easily, but they do want to try. Anyway, Thanksgiving at Mom's for me this year!! Love her stuffing!!
